Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 12–9:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (815) 527-0245. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, qxydumpling.com.

Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chicago follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Absolutely loved our experience here! The restaurant is beautiful, spotless, and so family-friendly. Danny and Ahmet were incredibly kind, accommodating, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The owner was also so friendly and genuinely cared. The customer service was truly top-notch, and the dumplings were delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food and outstanding hospitality!

This is the place to go! Same delicious food as the Chinatown location, but a much bigger space. Belen was the waitress in my latest visit, and she was so sweet and helpful. The owner also was very friendly, as he informed us about the halal options (which was so special to me as someone who eats halal). A great space for all! Whether you’re coming with a big group, or need a cozy meal for yourself. Will be back!

We came here for the dumplings, and it was worth it. There was a bit of a wait, but once we were seated the service was excellent and the food did not disappoint. The dumplings were incredibly tender and flavorful. We also tried a really unique alcoholic beer that we enjoyed. Overall, a great experience.

Came here on a Thursday night around 5:30pm. Online it said there was only a 6:30 reservation available so we went anyway in the event the website was wrong, and it for sure was. There were 3 other people there, and it’s a sizable restaurant. I came here with my child, and partner. They have a smaller menu, obviously mostly dumplings, but they also have skewers and some shredded potato salad. On that day they had gotten their liquor license so they had beer from Off Color brewing. The staff were attentive, kind, and fast. We got the special roe and pork dumplings (12 steamed), pork and cabbage dumplings (12 steamed), and lamb coriander dumplings (12 fried). You can choose between fried and steamed. We did not get an appetizer because we went wild with dumplings. They were very good, very doughy, an a different style of dumplings, although all the dumplings they had were the same style. Slight soupy inside, and yes throughout the dumpling dough almost sticky. Definitely worth trying and we will be back!

So good!!! Exceptional service, the best dumplings I’ve ever had (I got the wagyu&celery, wagyu&onion and the pork&cabbage) and all of them were amazing. The packaging was super cute and nice. I’ll be back often! Highly recommend. Thank you to the staff for helping me out today with my to go order!❀️
